Is this still photography?......

Good question, to be honest I'm not sure. Well it did begin it's existance as a photograph, then I added layers underneath rust, chipped paint and some light effects. then threw in some splatter for good measure. Splatter, well it's actually a font, I think it says 'ijkhg' and 'efd' well thats what Photoshop informs me it says. I like the effect of it looking like it has actually been painted/created physically and then photographed. This is in fact the total opposite. Another issue/milestone/hurdle I came across is wether I prefer the colour or the black & white. What do you think? For me the black & white seems more like a photograph and the colour one more like a painting. The photograph I used here was actually one of my test shots from the afore mentioned self portrait shoot, this one over exposed. I have a habit, and a good one at that, of trying to edit something out of every shot. In this case a massively over exposed photograph. As a result I was greeted with a rather high-key almost stencil-esque image. Then it hit me, in the figurative manner of course. "Why not try to make it look like a painting that had involved a stencil!" Et voilà, You have before the result of said thought process.
