The Brief: The People
I have decided to look at the people on the streets of Paris, to photograph them going about their everyday lives without knowing they are being photographed. I aim to observe them interacting, being alone among the millions, working and socialising.
Now, this was actually quite easy and very very fun. I was in Paris (as I mentioned earlier) for the Paris photo exhibition (Posts to follow) and seeing as I absolutely adore street photography especially candid street photography I decided to covertly harass the occupants of Paris with my camera. None of these photographs were staged in any way, I have literally Just snapped them as I saw them. Whether they were people alone, working, with others or simply just commuting. I can't guarantee that all of these people were Parisien or even live in Paris, some were at work attending stalls therefore it's safe to assume that they do live in if not come from Paris. Others among them are obvious tourists, now to me these are the people of Paris, not in any political, religious or blood related reason, but for the pure fact that they were there when I was, I share Paris with these strangers. There is a high possibility almost a certainty that I'll never see them again. That is why they are the people of Paris, I will never seen them any where else these are the people I saw in Paris. Maybe they saw me maybe they didn't, but who cares?
