In the Studio......

© Simon Harvey 2010

Far too dark,  but if I lift the exposure at all then it will over expose
on the edges of my arms which looks far worse than it being too dark.
So, what do we think, this is the first time I have put myself in front of the camera in the studio. To be honest I was actually kind of  nervous. Not overly happy with them all but others seem to have worked. They were lit with two flash heads on the same power and both with soft boxes on. I was trying for a fully even lighting but I think I may have had the lights a bit too close.

Nice but rather orange  I think I have a white balance Issues here.
Either that or my sync cable messed up and this is lit by the modelling lights.

I quite like the pose on this one.

Hi-Key, nice. I also like the fact that I'm
not looking at the camera.

Don't I look like a fool. My t-shirt also looks brown.

Better,  the coat makes the difference.

I know this is over exposed but I like the tones
on my coat.

This was the overexposed accident I used for the
'painting' you may have seen earlier.

Faceless.

This is dark and sullen, I  think the shadows
help create a slightly detached and secluded mood.

I don't know why I thought looking up was a good idea
the only thing I achieved was making my hat look like a smurf's.

Once again, a smurf hat.
The linear almost rain-like grain in the back ground
makes me think of the striping that occurs on old movies and
films.

Legs spread eagle? Oh dear.

This one isn't even worth Copyrighting!

Plain and frankly rather boring.
